Job Description
As the Area Sales Manager for Allview India Electronics Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for spearheading the sales operations within your assigned region. Your role will include developing effective sales strategies, leading a sales team, and cultivating relationships with key partners to meet and exceed sales targets. You will focus on expanding market penetration and building long-term relationships with distributors, dealers, and customers. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve corporate sales objectives for products such as LED TVs, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, and Washing Machines within the assigned area. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing them with direction, coaching, and performance evaluation. Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by establishing partnerships and expanding distributor networks. Dealer and Distributor Onboarding: Ensure successful onboarding of new dealers and distributors within the same segment to expand market presence. Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Sales Data Analysis: Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for business improvement. Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and key performance insights to senior management. Budget Management: Oversee and manage the regional sales budget, optimizing resource allocation to ensure maximum profitability. Compliance & Standards: Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Industry Trends & Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to drive informed strategic decisions. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 7-15 years of progressive sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within the electronics industry (LED TVs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, and Air Conditioners). Proven experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. Familiarity with the consumer electronics market, specifically in the LED TV, washing machine, air conditioner, and refrigerator segments. Experience in onboarding new dealers and distributors.
